However, there are many more factors in the environment – environmental pollution and atmospheric conditions – that affect glass over time and need to be cleaned naturally. The time it takes to activate the coating depends on the time of year, the position of the glass, etc., but on average it takes one week.

The unique solution of an external glass with a anti-condensation coating is exactly the product that modern double-glazed units with particularly good thermal performance need to avoid condensation on the outer pane. The coating of this glass is completely neutral, so that natural light can enter the interior to the maximum extent.
When operating a double-glazed unit, condensation can occur on the outer surface of the glass for more than 100 days per year (depending on local temperature and relative humidity). Anti-condensation glass can significantly reduce this phenomenon to a few times a year.
